I photographed Jenni & Paul’s wedding on Saturday at The Naples Grande. This hotel is really fantastic for photography because it has so many little nooks and crannies to use as backdrops.
There is such a South Beach feel to it which really can be fun, and still the hotel itself is very accessible to the beach. The photos I’ve posted are a mix from the day. I really love the above photo of Jenni & Paul and the boardwalk.
The wide-angled lens really gives the viewer the feel of how covered the boardwalk can be with those mangrove trees. I also love the photos of Jenni photographed in and around the hotel, especially the one in front of the escalators.
I especially like the urban feel to this photo. Who would ever think escalators could make a great backdrop? The escalator image in the slideshow is incredibly linear and it draws my eye right into Jenni with her soft flowing dress.
